This book is the product of Roz Crews’ three-year residency in the Housing and Residence Life department of Portland State University. It includes an interview with the students and director of the Art & Social Practice MFA program at PSU, ten essays by the first ever winners of the Distinguished Socially-Engaged Educators of the Region award, a collection of assignments Roz wrote for activities in the Portland Art Museum, and work by students in the First-Year Experience program at Portland State University.
